Confluents is a 4-movement work for prepared piano, voice, electronics and video commissioned by ClairObscur. The work is part of the De la mer aux nuages concert, for which I co-directed the video and composed the transitions.
More than a recital, De la mer aux nuages is an immersive video-music experience on the waves of the St. Lawrence and in the heights of the clouds, an ode to maritime beauty and a call to protect water and the environment, to which Stéphanie Pothier invites you, around works of French music for voice and piano, including those by Debussy, Ravel and Berlioz, as well as an original work by Montreal composer Julien-Robert for voice, piano and electronics, composed specifically for the De la mer aux nuages project.
Critic of the concert in L’Opéra
Confluents was also adapted for an exhibition.
