Le Flot is an interactive digital installation commissioned by the city of Sherbrooke to inhabit the Halte des Pionniers in downtown Sherbrooke permanently for at least one year starting in August 2021, every night from sunset until 11pm.
I was the main artist on the project having developed the idea, having realized it with the help of a creative team and having managed the entire project.

Description:
Inspired by the incessant flow of the rivers that shape the Eastern Townships, this digital river evolves with the seasons and evokes the passage of time. Like its host site, Le flot also recalls the origins of the region’s settlement and the founding of the City of Sherbrooke, whose history is intrinsically linked to the omnipresence of waterways.
In order to make the river your own and to leave a trace of your passage, this work invites you to interact with the projected elements by walking on the paved area of the Pioneer Stop. You can also write a message in Le flot by browsing the leFlot.art website where you can select your own objects and accompany them with a short text.
The project was the subject of a documentary at La Fabrique Culturelle: Le Flot, une halte sensorielle.
