People’s disregard for environmental problems reminds of me the skydivers’ pictures in which they are seen holding hands in circle; either the picture – or their smiles – reveal they are falling at 200 km/h!

Chute libre has been awarded third prize in the 2011 Salvatore Martirano Memorial Composition Award Competition. It has been directed by many musicians like Walter Boudreau with the SMCQ ensemble in 2011, Aaron Cassidy at the ICMC 2011 (UK), Stephen Taylor at the Martirano Award 2011 (US), Véronique Lacroix with the contemporary music workshop of the Montreal conservatory in 2010 and has been premiered by Lorraine Vaillancourt with the contemporary music workshop of the University of Montreal in 2009.
The current version is a live recording of the concert on 8th April 2009 played by the contemporary workshop of the University of Montréal directed by Lorraine Vaillancourt.
