Refuge is an audio and visual reflection of one’s character which seeks refuge in comfort in reaction to an urban turbulent and stressful life.

This piece is the second part of the triptych Fit in the crowd. The first part is Fit into the crowd. The second part is Fit in the glitch.

This piece is a commission of NAISA. It has been premiered by Krista Martynes at SOUNDplay festival of Toronto and Hamilton in 2010 with the support of a residency grant of the SOCAN foundation. It has been performed at Remusica festival in Kosovo, Studio 300 festival (US), at the Montreal Contemporary Music Lab 2012 and at the concert Pixels et Décibels of Codes d’accès.
